We are located at three or four different institutes, namely Fraunhofer IFAM in Bremen (Madlen Baumert, Janne Haack), the Institute of Sociology (Andrea Wolffram, Jennifer Dahmen-Adkins) and the Rectorate Staff Unit Integration Team – Human Resources, Gender and Diversity Management (Ralitsa Petrova-Stoyanov, Nathalie Wolf, Ramona Liedtke) at RWTH Aachen University, and the Central Gender Equality Office of the Max Planck Society in Munich (Corinna Pusch).
Together, we collaborate in the three EU projects currently working on gender equality and gender equity at RWTH Aachen University: CHANGE, LeTSGEPs and SPEAR. These sister projects invite you to join them on 25 and 26 November 2021:
We will discuss cultural-structural perspectives of gender quality work in European Research Performing Organisations (RPOs) under the conference title “Culture eats (a gender equality) strategy for breakfast? – Structure eats (a gender-sensitive) culture for lunch?“. On day one, we will hear perspectives on gender equality plan implementation from short-, long-term and associated EU member states, while on day two we address organisational and career perspectives from German university and non-university research institutions / RPOs.
